The cybersecurity compliance landscape for UK regulated businesses is complex, fast-moving and, for most SMEs, genuinely difficult to navigate. Independent financial advisers, wealth managers and other FCA-regulated firms face mounting pressure to demonstrate compliance with cyber risk frameworks, meet GDPR obligations and achieve certifications like Cyber Essentials Plus — often without the in-house technical resource to do so.
Defenda was built to solve exactly that problem. An AI-powered compliance platform designed from the ground up for UK regulated SMEs, it brings cyber risk management, FCA compliance, GDPR and Cyber Essentials Plus into a single, secure and genuinely usable platform.
A product of this calibre deserved a digital presence to match. The brief was clear: build a website worthy of the platform, fast enough for the security-conscious audience it serves, and flexible enough for the Defenda team to own and grow in-house.

What We Did
Across the full width
of the digital relationship.
Full Stack Media's involvement with Defenda spans considerably more than the website. While the visual design was produced by a third-party studio, Full Stack Media is responsible for the build, the integrations and the UX consultancy — the layers of technical work that determine whether a well-designed product actually functions, performs and converts.
The site is being built on React and Tailwind CSS, deployed via Netlify with Cloudflare providing security, DNS and global delivery. The architecture is designed for speed, security and scale from day one — precisely what you would expect from a business operating in the cybersecurity space. Content is served through a headless CMS, giving the Defenda team full editorial control without touching a line of code.

Alongside the website, Full Stack Media has been working directly with the Defenda product team in a UX consultancy capacity, helping to shape the experience across the compliance platform itself. This is detailed, considered work: reviewing user flows, refining navigation and ensuring that what is a genuinely complex product remains intuitive and accessible to the regulated businesses it serves.
A CRM integration ensures that every lead captured through the site flows directly and cleanly into the Defenda sales process. Nothing falls through the gaps.
