Alex Greenwood

Director with a decade spent client-side, leading marketing and digital for some of the UK's best-known consumer businesses.

I spent the first decade of my career client-side. I managed large budgets, owned the targets and answered to the board for the results. It taught me what good looks like, and how to spot when it wasn't being delivered. I was sceptical of most of the agencies I worked with, and in many of my roles I brought the work in-house and ran the platforms myself, which consistently delivered better results. That's the perspective I bring to every project at Full Stack Media.

Over the years that meant working inside some big, demanding businesses: a personal finance company that floated on the stock market for over £1.3bn, and one of the UK's largest grocery chains with close to 1,000 stores. I led marketing and digital across both, from strategy and PPC through to paid media and SEO.

More recently I've thrown myself into AI, leading the way in building it into how our team actually works, including custom tools that plug straight into the platforms we rely on. It's made us faster and sharper, and it's fast becoming part of how we help our clients get ahead too.

I joined Shane Feltham at Full Stack Media as Director in 2026, though we've worked together since 2014. Shane founded the agency in 2013, and between us we bring close to four decades of experience, all of it earned inside real businesses rather than agencies. That's the difference: when we look at your marketing, we see it the way you do.

Away from Full Stack Media, I'm dad to two girls and a keen golfer.
